Cecilia is longer and more complicated, and less English, than Cecily. And the unfortunate tendency to spell it Cecelia curdles my blood. I love the Simon and Garfunkel song, but I love Cecily more; and then there's The Importance of Being Ernest.
Since my parents were Beatrice and Cecil, I'd want to use Cecily Beatrice Anne. A name I'd have been happy to have myself.
