I haven't encountered many Chloes in my life, young or old, here in the U.S.; although, from what I understand, this name is ridiculously popular in the U.K., so a Brit will likely have a different opinion.

That said, I do like Chloe, both the look and sound. However, of the two similar Greek names, I prefer Zoe.

It's nice but also very boring.

I’ve always really liked it. There are so many girls in my DH’s side of the family and I’m very surprised this name was never used. Doesn’t work with our last name, that’s why I never considered it.

I like its mythological associations, but the sound is jarring.

There is something about Chloe that is grating. I don't like Zoe either, so I guess it's the OH-EE sound. But Chloe seems worse, maybe because of the CH being pronounced like a K. Anyway I'll give Chloe one big thumbs down. I really dislike this name.
