Do you like Gemma? Dying in the UK but getting popular in the US. I think it will die in the US in about 5 years. It sounds soooo British to me.

I do like it, but it does feel kind of tired and dated. I hate the spelling of Jemma. Gemma is nice, it makes me think of gemstones.
Yes, I agree, it will die quickly. It just got more popular in the US as a less common alternative to Emma but soon people will be sick of Emma and Gemma.
I think in the UK Emma and Gemma were popular at around the same time (70s, 80s and a bit of the 90s).

It sounds Italian to me. I'm not that much into this name, it lacks something.

Very dated to the 80s in the UK. I don’t like it much, but it’s better than a lot of other names from that era.
I’ve always liked this name. Not ridiculously popular here in Australia, but not unpopular either.
