The only ones that are decent at most on this list are Deizel and Rhyatt. MaKynlee makes me want to pour bleach on my eyes.
These are all terrible. Ok guess the « best” of the batch is Ramzi?
I have a soft spot for Sargent because of the painter John Singer Sargent. I find his work really beautiful and kind of sad.
Oh when it's a JSS reference it's kidn of nice and when it's spelled that way it seems like a reference instead of a misspelling.
Singer Sargent as a double name tho...

Sargent isn't that bad, actually. It makes me think of John Singer Sargent.
Ouch!
If I had to be one.... man. I think I would pick. Ramzi. LOLOL
Crymson Rayne made me laugh. It makes me think of blood.
Is Xoie supposed to be pronounced Zoey? lol
Riddick is the best of the bunch imo

I recently read about a local child named Rowdy. He had a cousin, I believe it was, named Rhiott. Both of those (Rowdy and the similar Rhyatt) are on this list.
I can't help but fear that children with these names will, upon learning the meaning of their names, go down the self-fulfilling prophecy road.
It's the exact opposite of the old practice of giving virtue names.

I love Ramzi.
Those poor children.
I mean there are bad naming choices in every group, I'm not as familiar with Mormon naming choices as a Midwesterner myself so I have less exposure aside from what I seek out online but occasionally I'll come across some that I really like. Once I heard about a Mormon baby named Melora Indigo a few years ago and I think it's really beautiful. Some of these really aren't so bad if the spellings were cleaned up a bit, but yeah as they are they're kind of cringe. One of my former high school classmates is Mormon and she named her son Nathan Maverick last year & that's relatively normal. It honestly makes me a little bit sad that the Mormon Community are given a bad rap for their naming choices, say what you will about religious ideologies and convictions but I think some "Mormon naming styles" are kinda cute & I'll go to bat for a few of them.

Is southeast Idaho a mormon community?
I like Melora Indigo.
I like Melora Indigo.
Someone posted on here (or could have been the Lounge) an article about mormon naming styles, written by a mormon before, and she stated a few reasons why names and spellings are so odd.
First of all, in certain mormon groups, women get married and have children very young, hence the trendy names.
Secondly, apparently a lot of girls start thinking of baby names when they’re still in school and if someone already “claimed” a name, say Iris, another girl would be frowned upon by the other girls if she also chose Iris; but Irys on the other hand, is perfectly fine.
