I got to thinking lately that Jade would make a good boys name. I love it for a girl, and have for a long time, but think it’d work equally well on a boy. Of course, it’s already listed as feminine & masculine, but obviously it’s dominantly used on girls.

Similarly, I have a new coworker named Jaden, and every time I see, hear, or say his name I can’t help to think that Jade is so nice and smooth, and the -den part is just grating.
