I like Lydia but I really love the nickname Lyddie even more, maybe even as a legal name. I'm not super surprised it's falling out of fashion, given the nature of the biblical female names cycling through different sets every generation. In my particular region Lydia is a little bit dated at the moment so it makes sense to me.
