I'm unfamiliar with Sera as a name.
I pronounce Sarah with the first syllable rhyming with air, and Sara with the first syllable rhyming with far.
I suppose I prefer Sarah, which is the most obvious spelling and a family name (nearly used on me, and I'm glad it wasn't!), but I find them all pretty dusty, dull and dated.

Sarah is the best spelling imo. I normally don't like silent Hs but it looks unfinished to my eye without it.
I like it, I think it has reached the point of being fresh and deservingof a comeback. It is common maybe even "boring" to some but to me it holds the same appeal as Mary. Simple, classic, timeless and not popular in the newest generation.
