The name means "sorrows." SORROWS! You can't beat that. And the name sounds ponderous, too! Just marvelous.

I'm sure I'm not making this up, but there used to be a very starchy radio station, mostly classical music, readings from novels, educational talks about neutral topics etc, here in South Africa, and there were two sisters (literal I believe, not Catholic) who used to sometimes present a music programme and were named, respectively, Dolores and Felicitas.
