I don't like either one. They sound as if they are names for some body parts. But I'm not going to be any more specific.

Cleora - Cliona sounds like somebody blowing their nose. lol (CLEEEEEEEEEEnuh!)

I dislike them both, but Cliona looks anatomical, so I'd prefer Cleora. IRL I'd prefer Laura, Deborah, Nora(h) or even Cleone.

I agree with Amphelise that Cliona is too much like "cleaner" - even though it isn't a match in my accent, I still thought of it immediately.
(I'm assuming it's "CLEE-na," like Catriona is Katrina. If I didn't know that I might have thought "clee-OH-na" ... but I still would have liked Cleora better)

I like Cleora pronounced as "clay-OR-a" rather than "clee-OR-a." But "clee-OR-a" is okay.

I like Cleora, it's weirder.

I don’t like Cliona, because in my accent it’s indistinguishable from the word ‘cleaner’ (KLEE-nuh). If it were klee-OH-nuh I might like it better, but it’s not.
