Re: Top 10 for April
in reply to a message by Uilos
There actually was a lot of moving and shaking on my list this past month, particularly in the feminine list:
Adam Edmund James
Damien Luke
Dominic Edwin
Donovan Leo
Finn Gabriel
Jonathan Isaac
Malcolm Elliott
Nathaniel Bennett
Nicholas Rowan
Wesley Owen Rhys
&
Cara Melisende
Claire Elodie Simone
Felicity Charlotte
Fern Alexandra
Juliet Athena
Luna Guinevere
Maxine Amelia
Miranda Willow
Sabrina Lily
Xenia Violet
Honorable mentions go to Steffan, Luke, Phaedra, Anastasia, Violet, Leona, and Clara, which were all in my Top 10 over the course of this month. Like I said, lots and lots of moving and shaking!
Ten years ago, these were my top names:
Richard Ambrose
Hunter Leland
Westley Alden
Gavin Charles
Cameron Michael
Navarre Harris
Owen Malachi
William Caedmon
Edmund Remiel
Derek Joseph
&
Emberine Morgan
Luthien Ariel
Cecily Willow
Aveline Violet
Aurelia Celeste
Philippa Sage
Marian Rosabel
Anjou Lauren
Sabrina Faye
Ever Lileas
Oh wow, that feminine list! I remember my brief fascination with Emberine - I saw it in a novel. And it belonged to a villain! (Okay, fine, it was a smutty paranormal romance.) As I recall, it wasn't well received on these boards, and honestly for good reason. And Luthien is there, reflecting my Tolkien love. Anjou & Navarre further drove home the fact that I'm a medieval buff (that, and the Princess Bride spelling Westley). This is a pretty eye-popping trip down memory lane, actually!
