Opinions on these twins names
So basically, me and all my classmates are creating a story together. We have not yet finished it but it’s about twins who are in Year 9 who got lost in a forest, they’re names are Isla and Lilah. The hero’s of the story are also twins, they’re names are September and Mai. What do you think of the names?I’m actually not sure if I like any of the names though as I didn’t get to pick their names.

I only like Lilah. My least favorite of the four is September. C'mon, it's a Month! September? You could do better than that. Also, the Green Day song "Wake Me Up When September Ends". I love the song, but it wouldn't be good for someone named September to hear that. Just saying.

I know, I don't like the names either, I didn't get to choose ANY of the names. I do kind of like Lilah I guess... and I would like Mai if it was spelled May. I find the name September very ugly and I think Isla is overrated.

I love matchy sets but IMO Isla and Lilah don't work very well because Lilah is just Isla with an "l", the different spellings make them only slightly better than Anna and Joanna. I kinda appreciate sets like this but they feel strange.September and Mai is fun.

I think Isla and Lilah are too matchy, same with September and Mai, I don't most months as namesIsla and Mae, Lilah and April

Hm... I do like Isla and Mae and Lilah and April. Maybe I should ask my classmates if we could change their names.
Edit: Oops, I sent the same thing twice sorry.

September and Mai, along with kids lost in a forest, remind me of a Slovak fairy tale "The Twelve Months".
There were personified months, a lost girl, an evil stepmother and an impossible task.
And I like September... in theory.

I like Isla and Lilah individually. They seem awfully match-y in sound together. If I knew siblings with those names, I'd probably end up calling them by each other's name accidentally. September and Mai seem like trying to avoid being overly match-y by using Mai instead of May. But it's still quite match-y.Sounds like a fun project regardless!

Yes. I didn't get to pick any of their names sadly.
