It's really pretty and clear-sounding.
Love it, much less clunky than the likes of Verna. I am always reminded of the actress Vera-Ellen. Her name had atrocious flow though supposedly her mother picked it after it was a "dream name" while she was pregnant with her which I suppose is kind of sweet. I knew a woman whose name was Vera Miranda and I like that pairing.
It was very much a grandma name to me for a long time. But I have come to rather like it. I do like Verity as well.
Grandparents' generation, at best. And I don't much enjoy the sound of it; Verity is lighter and brighter.
The Spanish pronunciation of this name is SO cute and I like it much more than the English pronunciation.
I don't mind Vera overall. It's growing on me.

Nice
I'm rather fond of it, it's short, so no need for NN. Also, I like letters V and R in names.
But this word-name has a deep religious connotation, (at least in an Orthodox Church), it's not a problem though, but might be taken into consideration, by those who put special emphasis on such things.
