I like them both. Rebecca isn't as popular now as it has been, but it's not likely to ever really go out of style or seem dated.
Gregory does feel more dated than Rebecca, but it's still a good name. They sound like they could be siblings, which I guess is what's meant by "how do they sound together"?

I have come to more fully appreciate Rebecca in recent years. I associate it most with the Daphne Du Maurier novel. So, far from feeling bland, I get a mysterious vibe. I do not like any nicknames. Just Rebecca in full. Gregory is fine and goes well enough with it.
