I think Amelie and Sophia make a great twin combo. I like Amelie Celeste and Sophia Brigitte.

Remember Americans love unusual names so I wouldn't worry about it being different. Just find ones easy to pronounce so the girls do not have to correct everyone. Good Luck and congrats!!

I think Amilie or maybe Fiona or Noemie spelt Noamy-so that the americans can pronounce it right, also for twins, you could suggest names the tinest bit similar, peut etre Amilie(French) et Amelia(English) ou Josephine et Josie? Nadine et Noemie, Noelle et Noemie, Ella et Elle, Tatiana et Tanya?
Something english for one and french for another?

My faves are Amelie and Zoya; Zephrine is interesting but nms. Sophia is too trendy for me; I also knew the most annoying underachieving whiner named Sophia. I do however really like the Polish name Zofia.
