Meda is an official whole name. Maybe, it is a nickname for Greek Medeia or Czech word for honey (med).
Josefina is very elegant name in the Czechia. But a lot of people like shorten this name to Pepina or Pepička. :-( I more prefer Josefinka, Finetta or Sefi.
