I don’t think it sounds like Sophia because Sapphira’s pronunciation is sa-FIE-ruh. Safira [sa-FEE-ruh] on the other hand does sound like Sophia.I like both Sapphira and Safira, but prefer Sapphire to both.Sapphira doesn’t feel trendy to me. Modern...perhaps? But not really if I’m honest. It’s a pretty, old name that has a “glam” feel to it. It reminds me of Estelle | Stella in that way._________________

I'm pretty sure in Hebrew Sapphira is sa-FEE-ra as well. I dislike sa-FIE-ra.
