Arran
What do you think of Arran?Does it look like a misspelling of Aaron to you? Do you pronounce them the same?It is an island, belonging to Scotland and has made the Scottish top 100.

When I saw it, my first thought was a misspelling of Aran, the Irish islands and the gloriously complicated knitwear patterns they are famous for. But, yes, most people would probably 'correct' it to Aaron.

It makes me think of running errands... but cool otherwise!

I would pronounce it as Aaron and think it was just a creative spelling.

Pretty much same...

I see that it refers to a Scottish island, but looking at it I first thought of the Aran Islands of the coast of Ireland! Thought somebody added another R...I'd pronounce it the same as Aaron, intuitively, though it looks like its own name.

I like it. In my head I don't pronounce it like Aaron, but even if you say it exactly like Aaron I still prefer Arran. Aaron just looks weird to me.

Yes, it looks like a misspelling of Aaron. It also brings to mind the word errant.

I think it's pretty nice. I never really cared for Aaron. That's cool that it made Scottish top ten :)
