Re: Lydia

I really like Lydia for its slightly Gothic charms. It puts me in mind of Edgar Allan Poe, it's got that kind of delicate darkness to it, and it's a lovely purpley shade. There is something undeniably chilly about it, though, that keeps me from warming up to it completely. It very much feels like a character in someone else's story, I can't quite connect to it. I'd love to hear about a baby Lydia.
Hmm, how would I combo Lydia....
I feel like it needs something a bit more staid next to it, to better show off its qualities. But nothing too filler or boring.
Lydia Florence
Lydia Josephine
Lydia Caroline
Lydia Geraldine
Lydia Eleanor
Lydia Bernadette
Lydia Gwendolen
Lydia Annabel - see this is getting too delicate, too prissy
Lydia Rosemary
I want something long and strong like Margaret, Catherine, or Elizabeth that isn't Margaret, Catherine or Elizabeth, y'know?
None of these ideas are really pleasing me.
