Names for twin girls... Should I change or stick?
I thought I had finally decided on names for twin girls but now I am not so sure. I settled on Leanna Charlotte and Carys Olivia, but I am now having second thoughts on the name Olivia because of its popularity. I was considering Carys Amelie or Carys Rosalie but i'm not sure I like them as much as Olivia. What are your opinions?

Carys Olivia has a really pretty sound but it is rather over popular. I would try to find something else and if you just can't find anything else that you like as much then go with it anyhow. Here are my ideas:Carys Lucinda
Carys Oriana
Carys Alissa
Carys Sophia
Carys Oceana
Carys Ravenna
Carys Ophelia
Carys Allegra

I like Leanna Charlotte and Carys Rosalie. I agree that Olivia is too popular.

Yes, I have my twins too, Shania Twin, anyways...Are you really having baby twin girls?
That sounds great!
If you like Olivia you should stick to it, even if its popularity I think you should choose the name you like the most. Maybe after all you'll see your girls and decide it looks like a Carys Amelie or Carys Rosalie more than any Carys Olivia.
That same thing happened with Aisha. I was gonna name him Paul but he looked like an Aisha Paul Twain more than a Paul Aisha Twain.
Stick to it woman!

I love all the Carys options. I like Carys Olivia best though.I don't like Leanna Charlotte at all.

for a mn i dont think name popularity should stop you from using it if you really like it

I would chose Carys Amelie or Carys Rosalie! I don't like Olivia personally

I prefer Carys Amelie but honestly if you like Olivia more I think you should use it. I wouldn't be so concerned about it's popularity since you're using it as a mn.

Thanks for your opinions everyone. :-) I think I am going to stick with Carys Olivia as it was my initial favourite. Its true that middle names dont get used that often so it wont really be a problem I guess. In response to Bex, I was worried about the names being too different, but they are my favourite names and I figured that that is more important than them being very similar in style - at least they'll be individuals.

I like the names you have chosen, although personally I prefer Linnea Charlotte to Leanna (Leanna makes me think of LeAnn Rimes, a little too country for me). I love Carys Olivia- I think you should go with that. Great choices!

Both Carys Amelie and Carys Olivia are fine. As Olivia is a mn (and let's be reasonable, how many times do we actually use are mns?) I wouldn't care about the popularity.

Carys Olivia is really cute, and since Olivia is the middle name, I wouldn't care for the popularity.
Anyway, I like Amelie a lot, too.
How about Carys Noelle or Carys Eve?Good luck with the girls! Eva
