Blair mainly reminds me of blaring noises and Blair Witch Project (not my thing).
Briar isn't my fav (wouldn't prefer it over Bryony or Bramble) but my associations are Brian and Briar Rose (Sleeping Beauty), which I feel more neutral/fond about.
