Blair is a name whose idea I like much more than the reality. I think she (while I acknowledge unisex usage, I think of it as a feminine name, likely due to the similar sound to Claire) looks wonderfully sophisticated on paper; however, when said aloud I get the image of car horn and sirens blaring, and it doesn't leave. :-(For this reason, my vote would go to Briar, which I appreciate as an underused botanical name. (I also view Briar as mainly feminine, which is admittedly my attitude toward most botanical names.) Just... don't pair it with Rose, please.
