Briar is nice. It has the benefits of Brian without feeling overdone and 'normal' and it's a cool nature name. A little more prickly than most hippie type names.

Blair is just ugly IMO.
ETA: I know Blair is used on girls, but I still think a girl named Blair sounds like a girl Archibald or Darrell (I know a girl named Daryl and it gives me that same impression)
