I admit I wasn't prepared for this response. How am I "not taking this seriously"?
I've heard the name Hera on a real-live person before. It's by no means a common name, but not unheard-of. It's not like I'm talking about naming a little girl Clytemnestra here.
In truth, I've loved the name Hera for years, though I did regard her as a GP along with the other uncommon mythological names (like Elektra, Gaia, or Antigone - though the latter two, I have met women with those names).
If you don't like Hera, that's fine. But this was a serious post.
