I like Bernadette Peters’s voice, but the name is a clunker although that can be endearing on the right person.

I love Bernadette. It's my number one name for a future child (my so is also into it). I love the nn Bernie along with Etty, Etta, and Benny.

A gorgeous Catholic antique.

Very long, rhythmically unattractive and very ornate. I would say it was also very Catholic, except that the only Bernadette I've ever known wasn't.

Again, very Catholic and pretty. I like the nickname Bernie.

Not a fan, but I really dislike "The Big Bang Theory" and the name reminds me of the show and the annoying character. I also dislike Bernie on a girl. However Bernard on a guy is handsome.
