Babette
A lady at work keeps calling me Babette. I don’t correct her as quite like this unusual name haha
How do you pronounce Babette?
Do you like it?
Babette Iris “Betty”
Babette “Bebe” (bay-bay)

Babette is so jaunty! I quite like it.
Babette Iris is darling.

I pronounce it Bab-ette. Short A sound. I think it's charming and in a retro kind of way. Sort of playful and spunky, with a touch of glamour. I know of a woman, maybe in her 50s, named Babette. It does not come across as childish on her.

Bab-ett. I love it. Very stylish 50s, classic and cute.
5/10. I don’t really like it, but I don’t dislike it either. It would be cool as a middle name.
buhBET: is there really another way? I quite like it, but it seems permanently juvenile so might be hard to live with.
