A lady at work keeps calling me Babette. I don’t correct her as quite like this unusual name hahaHow do you pronounce Babette? Do you like it?Babette Iris “Betty”

I pronounce it Bab-ette. Short A sound. I think it's charming and in a retro kind of way. Sort of playful and spunky, with a touch of glamour. I know of a woman, maybe in her 50s, named Babette. It does not come across as childish on her.
