Dixie
Thoughts? I've been considering this as a way to honor the Dixie Chicks, one of my favorite bands. I went to high school with a girl named Dixie. Combos appreciated.

Dont like it at all
Dixie is cute, but perhaps it is a little too sweet for a person rather like Trixie or Pixie. I had a childhood friend who loved the book "Because of Winn-Dixie," which is centered around a dog, so it makes me think of a pet.
I like the sound and look of it. And I once knew a very nice Dixie, too. Too much baggage, though. Which is, of course, why The Chicks rightfully ditched it.

The Dixie is honestly kinda nice, but I would like it a lot more if it didn’t have such a racist past.
They changed their name to The Chicks, so I wouldn't recommend it.
The sound of the name is cute, but I personally wouldn't want a name associated with the antebellum south.

Hi !!!
I actually like Dixie! I rate it 8/10.
Being Italian I have no reasons to use it in real life (and I wouldn't, in any case).
However I think that Dixie is charming, lively and sunny. It is enough informal but still elegant thanks to its old-fashionable vibe.

Dixie Veronica
Dixie Thalia
Dixie Eglantine
Dixie Gaëlle
Dixie Hortense
Dixie Rosalind
Dixie Katharina
Dixie Talitha
Dixie Olga

I happen to have liked the Dixie Chicks when they were big, but I wouldn't want to have been named after them.
Dixie is mildly cute, but it's also a bit too cute, like something you'd name a dachshund. Dixie Dachsie or something like that. I know a Dixie, she is probably fifty.
