Wrenna
According to this website, Wren derives from the Old English word, "wrenna", and I was wondering what you thought of Wrenna as a given name. I like Wren a lot, but thought Wrenna deserved some special consideration as well.Sparrow

Nope, I don't like Wrenna. Wren is sweet for a middle name, but I don't really care for it as a first name. I do like Erina though "Eh-ree-nuh".

There's been much upheaval in the local (South African) aviation industry recently, made worse by Covid lockdown; one company's CEO has just resigned. Her name - with a very Afrikaans surname - is Wrenelle. Not anything I'd endorse. And I wouldn't bother with Wrenna either. It would constantly be confused with Renee, which is perfectly acceptable if dated.

I like Wren because it's curt and trim and immediately associated with wrens, of the ornithological or architectural variety. Wrenna doesn't check out any of these boxes.

Looks a bit ungainlyI don't like it at all. Wren isn't much better, though.

I love Wren. If I had a girl today that is the name I would use. Wrenna is pretty enough. I prefer Brenna and Glenna for similar sounds.

I'm not a fan of Wren, but Wrenna is pretty nice. Seems much more like a name to me, than Wren does. I like the W, and -enna is almost always appealing.

Hi !!!I rate Wren 8/10 and Wrenna 7/10.I think that Wrenna is very interesting. As I'm Italian I don't know if Wrenna is actually used as given name.

I like it. The only problem is that if I saw Wrenna on a baby, I'd assume they just took the word wren and added a "na" on the end to make it sound like more of a name and less of a word. Knowing it's an old english word I like it more, but I think that's still the impression it would give off. With "REN" I expect Wren, but with "REN-a" I'd expect Renna or Rena. Seeing Wrenna would make me think "okay, so they kinda named their kid after a bird but didn't commit to it".

It's cute. At first does sound made up, but it's not too bad, but it's growing on me. Might be on my name list.
