I don't like it at all. It doesn't appeal to me, sound wise or especially appearance wise and it makes me think of beluga whales. O_o

Man. I think everything about it is ugly. I think B- names are kinda bad in the first place. Byoo is an ugly sound, and Beu is the ugliest way to spell it. Beulah literally sounds like vomiting a little bit, like when a dog drinks too fast and then vomits it all up in one hurl. And the H at the end is both fancy and messy. AND all the stereotypes attached to it are bad. I am honestly amazed that a single person likes the name. I consider it basically unlikable by all demographics. Even names I loathe deeply like Braxton, I can see the appeal for some people who have completely different values from me, but I cannot see the prism of aesthetic values that would coalesce into liking this name, it's totally foggy.

I love me some ugly old lady names, but this one is TOO ugly. It just has a gross sound to it that makes me think of vomit. Do not like.

I mistake it for Beluah and think it sounds like beluga and bellow. Either way it sounds kinda blubbery, and the "BYOO-luh" sound is kind of ugly IMO. Reminds me of Bertha too.

It has a cool sound, but I don’t entirely love it. It was the name of one of my great grandmothers and I have to say, it’s probably the most interesting name on that side of the family tree.

I appreciate that it's an antique, but it's certainly not my favorite antique name.

I think the sound is very unattractive. In the US, it has rather strong associations with stereotypical black domestic servants, thanks to a popular radio and TV show of the old days about a maid named Beulah, but I suspect the show was building off a cliché that was already established.
In all fairness however, I should add that my stepfather's grandmother, born in 1900, was named Beulah and was white.

Pretty, although it's completely dated. I only like it as a middle name.
