I love Adrian, though I prefer the Adrien (French) variant. It's subtle, but I prefer the pronunciation.
Atticus I like a lot, but it isn't a name I'd consider a child. I hear "attic". It's similar to Atlas... and Abacus in that way. Though I doubt kids nowadays would know what an abacus is (actually I'm not sure the kids of my own generation would have known what an abacus is - I knew only because my grandma had one her kids used to use for school and my brother and I played with it as a toy as small children)
I like both, but prefer Adrian
