I think it's horrendous. Usually, I would try not to be so forceful, but this name has always bugged me. I remember the first time I heard it and it made me irritable. That girl was actually named Brynnley which is even worse.
It's like a terrible combination of Brenda and Kayley. Eek.

I would never use it, but I was quite surprised to see how many people hate it ;)
To me it sounds like Bryn + Lee and I do like Bryn a lot and don't have problems with the -ley/leigh/lidh ending as I do like Eilidh a lot. So I thought it would do a lot better here than Paisley or Kaylee. To me it sounds very nature-y and calm.
But yes, it is very trendy and I can understand it's not popular here, just expected this to fare a bit better ;) I wonder if I should have asked about Brynlee instead, maybe that brings up a different image?

I think people here by and large hate Br- names. I'm not sure why. I do too.
