Lola
Do you like Lola?
It felt like the next big thing a few years back but never made it. Do you think it still stands a chance?
I remember liking it back then but now it just feels really sleazy to me.
Do you think it's cute or do you get the same image?

She's a guilty pleasure, but I like Lola. I don't think it will make a comeback, though - it feels more "little girl who incessantly asks questions and sucks on lollipops" than "sultry seductress" to me, but I understand where the latter image comes from. It's also very much of a dog name.
It's my niece's name
It's not particularly my style, but I'm fond of it for that reason. I know my SIL had a really hard time finding a name she liked, because she's a primary school teacher and wanted to use a name that she hadn't worn out through teaching one!

I like Lola. It seemed to have some popularity back in the late 2000s, so it's a little more common that I'd like, but it's a good name. It always reminds me of Marlene Dietrich's catchy little song, "Ich bin die fesche Lola" from the movie "Der blaue Engel." To me, Lola is a spunky and feisty name. I think parents will rediscover it one of these days. When I hear it, I think of a fabulous Queer cabaret singer (with a strong alto voice and a penchant for the foxtrot) in a seedy underground bar in early 1930s Berlin and my heart sings.

Don't really like it
I see a tiny black spaniel, named Lola before the Kinks song came out because she looked like a Spanish dancer as a puppy, whizzing round in circles, her ears flapping like long, shining hair.
And then there's L-O-L-A, Lola, drinking the champagne that tastes just like cherry cola. Can't say I'd expect to see it on a living human.

It’s cute, but feels a bit nicknamey and inconsistent.
Not exactly sleezy, but it does sound like the name of pig in a children's story that has tacky taste in clothes.
Sounds babyish and immature, while also being really sleazy. At least it’s better than Lolly, though.
I don't like it at all, but I don't hate it like most people here do. I don't think it sounds sleazy. I think it sounds passe Hollywood b-list celebrity kid.
I find it tawdry and expected.
I know a couple of very young Lolas. I wonder if it is getting it's second wind? I won't say it sounds sleazy. But I agree it's slightly unsettling on a little girl. I don't mind it in general. But it's not a favorite.
Too sexually charged for a kid. Between the novel Lolita, the Kinks song, and the Copa Cabana it’s just not a sweet, innocent name. Don’t get me wrong, all of those things have been excellent contributions to pop culture, I just wouldn’t want people associating them with my little girl.
ETA: too nicknamey as well

The name feels insubstantial? I also know too many dogs named Lola (chihuahua’s in particular, and I remember one lab)
