I prefer Annika. This spelling is the standard spelling in Scandinavia and Germany and the name of Pippi Longstocking's friend. Anika always looked misspelled to me.
I live in Germany and I know millions of Annikas (the name was super common here in the 80s and 90s and still used quite a bit from the 00s until now), but I only know two who spell it Anika. Don't get me wrong, Anika is perfectly fine. I just think that Annika looks much better.
I also think that Anika might lead to mispronunciations. It's AHN-nee-ka in German and Scandinavian countries, not ah-NEE-ka.
