I like Frances and Francis, and Frankie, for girls and boys. :)
I'm not a fan of parents naming their children after themselves, regardless of whether it's father/son, mother/daughter, or anything else. I especially don't like it when a man and woman have a son named for the father and a daughter named for the mother. It creeps me out, because then it's like the brother and sister are a miniature version of a married couple. :/

I agree with you about a mother and father naming a daughter and son after themselves. I always wonder what would happen if they had a third child... would they give it another family name or just a name that they liked? I would feel really left out if I was that third child!
