I love Francis for boys and Frances for girls. On either sex, I love Frankie. On boys, I also like Frank, and on girls, I also like Frannie.
Frances and Francis seems sweet to me. Alice and Francis sound great together--but I'm a tidge biased, because Neville Longbottom's parents, Frank and Alice, are two of my favourites in HP.

I hadn't even seen the Neville Longbottom connection! *smacks self in head* That makes Alice and Francis seem even better to me, although I don't think Francis went by Frank.
I have to say that although I love the nn Frankie, I really don't like Frank. I don't know why the "-ie" makes so much difference! Frannie is cute too.
