Guinevere
Today's Name of the Day is Guinevere. WDYT?When I was a kid obsessed with Arthurian legend, I loved this name! I still like it, though I question how usable it is in real life - likely, a Guinevere would shorten her name to Gwen or Gwynne (Guin?). These days I actually prefer Morgana anyway.***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381

In the Netflix show 'You' the protagonist was Guinevere Beck who went by her last name.I think it's useable with Gwen or Gigi as a NN. I think it's a lot cuter than heavy set Morgana.I like the combo Rose Guinevere.

I love it! It has a fantastically eccentric sound and a rich history.

I’m with you on liking Morgana more, but I really do adore Guinevere. There’s something different about the sound, and I just like saying it. Honestly, if having two Arthurian names wasn’t too much, I’d 100% use her.

Nice one.I don't think it's useable in real life, but if you can, then by all means do so.

I love it. The namesake is terrible but the name is sooo pretty! I don’t think it’s very usable in real life, sadly. Genevieve and Ginevra are also devinely beautiful. I guess I just really like this type of name :-D

It’s clunky, I prefer Ginevra or Genevieve.

It’s very nice, though I prefer Geneviève.I think a Guinevere would go by Guin, as Gwen would probably be Gwendolyn.

I like it. I love the name, the character isn't that cool though. Morgana is definitely better! I think a Guinevere would probably go by Guin. Gwen would make more sense for Gwenhwyfar.

I don't really care for it. I think it sounds a bit dated and harsh and brings to mind a harridan-type filled with old money. Also, and perhaps strange to admit, has always reminded me of alcohol. Probably because of it's first four letters which is similar to the alcoholic drink, 'guinness'
I MUCH prefer Genevieve. I like the beginging and ending sound far more than Guinevere and I also think it just looks better written out.

I think it's ok, prefer it to Morgana. I prefer Genevieve to Guinevere though
