Elektra/Elettra For a Russian Woman?
I know Elektra is greek and Elettra is italian, but i think it really fits the character. Is it too far-fetched?

These names are not used in Russia. Elektra can work as a stage name, but it sounds too foreign and pretentious as a given name, and it reminds too much of electricity. "Elektra LN" sounds exactly the same as "Electric LN" when said out loud.

I definitely think Elektra is suitable for a Russian character. So many Russian names derive from Ancient Greek names!

Not necessarilyI've seen it used in Russia and on Russian characters before. I once had a Russian character named Ekaterina, who went by Elektra. If all else fails, you can spin it something like that. She could also have Greek ancestry.

In Russian, there's Электра (transliterated as Elektra) but is very, very rare. The name itself sounds no Russian at all. However, you can consider using it as a pseudonym; if you don't mind that it's not a Russian-sounding name, you can still use it. Elettra is too far-fetched, though.

Thanks! Here's a little hope ahaha. A pseudonym would really make sense since she's into greek mythology, although i don't quite see her changing her own name

Yeah, they’re too far-fetched. Try Alyona, Eloiza, Alyena, Ilyena, Kseniya, Ilifiya, or something else that fits. You could also go with Energiya if you’re feeling brave.

Thanks for the suggestions! The russian names that i feel like fit her are Svetlana (which has a a meaning similar o the one of Elektra) but it don't think it's really i'm looking for, and Anastasiya (Nastya for nickname) i kind of like it, but i still can't quite associate the character with the name. Maybe it's because it's missing an e haha
