Re: Blanche or Bianca
Blanche is wonderful... when pronounced the French way. If we're considering Blanche as a French name, then it would be my pick. However, said with an ending "tsh" instead of "sh" makes the name sound unbelievably miserable. (So it's obvious how I feel about the English variant Blanch as a name.) If we're considering Blanche as an English name, then Bianca wins - though not without caveats. Bianca is mellifluous enough, but something about the name... idk, it gives the impression of an attitude problem. This could be because of the Taming of the Shrew (and by extension 10 Things I Hate About You) character. Can't say I'm a fan of Blanca, though, sorry. It reminds me of blanket. It's better than English Blanche / Blanch, though!***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381
