It's OK. I feel pretty neutral about it. It seems like the sort of name that is going to have a big surge in popularity. There's just something about it. Old fashioned, not unheard-of....A minor point, but I pronounce it EL-o-weez and I pronounce Louise loo-WEEZ. I understand other posters' point that they both have the "weez" sound but to me Eloise is not Louise with a prefix stuck on it, because of the different vowel sounds.
