I once met a really beautiful, mysterious girl named Olga. She turned that name around for me, I think it's gorgeous now.
I also met a Boris. He was unfortunate. He was short and sort of aggressive and very masculine and bossy. I feel like he played into the stereotypes of the name and cemented it there for me.
If I met a nice Boris I feel like it could turn the name around for me, because the sound and look are actually rather appealing.
