It’s okay. A little too frilly for my taste. I do like it as a middle name, though. But I prefer Annabel.

I like it but it is long. It's a lot more practical and less princessy than most long names though. I think Isabel is 100x better than Isabella, but Annabel and Annabella are fairly similar to me (at least right now). There's a kids series where you add a syllable to your name for every generation you survive, and there was an old character called Annabella who had gone from Ann to Anna to Annabel to Annabella. I remember thinking the author was lucky to find a common four-syllable name where each successive syllable also made a common name.

Off topic but do you remember the name of that series? It sounds interesting.

It's heavy but cute. I like it. It sounds almost royal.

haha I just used Annabelle in a combo, so it's really funny how you mentioned Annabella!Anyway, as I've just indicated, I prefer Annabelle. The -a ending makes it seem too frilly... which is odd bc I also prefer Isabella over Isabelle. lol

That's Disney Channel actress Bella Thorne's full name, Annabella Avery Thorne.
Aside from that association, I like it very much, and it's very beautiful. I still prefer Arabella and Annabelle.

Too much of a good thing. I don't like the rhythm, -bella is a false etymology and the whole thing brings me close to a diabetic coma.Annabel is fine; I could use it.

I don’t like it. I don’t even like Annabel(le).Anna/Anne/Ana/Ane/Annie: Yes
Bella/Belle: YesBut for some reason, I can’t stand Annabel/Annabelle or Annabella.

It's way too frilly for me. Even more than Isabella or Cecilia (a name that immediately makes me picture petticoats and doilies). It took me a while to appreciate Annabel, but Annabella is just too much.

It seems when it comes to girl’s names, the opinion is the name is too feminine or not feminine enough, too trendy or too dated. I think a name like Annabella in some cultures is very normal. I think it is a beautiful name but I prefer Annabel.

I like it ok, but I love Annabel. Annabella is just a lot. Plus, it encourages the nickname Bella, which I think is just horrid, princessy nonsense, whereas Annabel is more likely to encourage Anna or Annie, both of which I love.

It’s uber-frilly and obnoxiously try-hard feminine. I prefer Annabel far more.

It just screams "We have a girl!!!! Buy us all the pink tutus! We have a little princess!"Anna is fine. Bella is fine. Together it's a frilly and frou frou.

It's okay, but I feel that Annabella is too much of an elaboration off of Annabel.

I think it's a bit much.I love Annabel, it is sweet and simple. Annabelle is already too frilly for my tastes.Annabel to me is sweet and feminine in a nice way, like a bright summer's day, clean cotton. Annabelle is overly sweet, like a pink cake with cream and sugary sprinkles and marshmallows on top. Annabella is even sweeter and frillier, so sweet it makes you feel sick.No offense, it is my no means a bad name and I wouldn't mind meeting an Annabella. But it is just too much. The Portuguese Anabela seems less frilly but would also feel misspelled too many people. In general I feel like Annabelle, Isabella and other -belle/-bella names are already starting to become dated. I also find Bella so tired and unattractive as a nickname.
