Althea
I don't know, but I love the name Althea. It's an old name, but more vintage and not old in a way where it can't make a comeback some day. What do you think of the name Althea? What middle names go with it? I like Althea Lorraine.

I find it quite dull - it's not a common name, but it has a ubiquitous, forgettable sound. I adore Amalthea, though.

LovelyI prefer Anthea, though.I'd opt for Althea Melisande, Althea Winifred, or Althea Rosamund.

I know that I *do* like Althea. It has a lot of elements I love. But there was a street named Althea near where I grew up so it's really hard to disconnect from that, for me.

I love Alethea, but Althea is an old gray-haired woman in a shapeless flowered dress and orthopedic shoes. No thanks.

I always dither between Althea and Anthea, and end up choosing neither. Both good, both fine on someone else, but they just paralyse me for some reason.

I just finished reading my children The Five Children and It. There was an Anthea in the book which quite grew on me by the end. I do not care much for Althea though.

I love Althea. I also like Aletha A LOT and Alethea (more as a mn). If I were to use it, I’d probably use Althea Frances or Margaret Althea.
