I love it. It’s my second favorite girl name. I love all the nickname options and that it is long and elegant sounding - very princess-like.
Hmm. Alexandria feels very... only child of a widowed late Victorian/early Edwardian archaeologist, quite spoilt and snobbish, shocks all her peers by wearing trousers when she accompanies her father to digs.
I prefer Alexandria to Alexandra, despite it being 5 syllables and thus quite long. (Although my favorite of the three is Alexandrie.)
I prefer Alexandra over Alexandria. I love the nn Alix/Alex on a girl. Other nicknames: Lexi, Alexa, Lexia, Alli/Allie, Xandria
Alexandra is already inconveniently long and is inevitably shortened - Alex and variants now, Sandra back in the 40s and 50s. And Alexandria adds yet another syllable, while converting itself to a geographical name as well. And I don't enjoy geographical names, or the nns for Alexandr(i)a. In the case of Alexander, I like Alec as a nn but it is seldom used, and in my experience never on a girl.
To be honest, I only see Alexandria as an unnecessary elaboration of Alexandra. It has many nicknames, though: Alex, Lexi, Sandria, Dria, Lex, etc. The only real association I have with it besides Alexandra is the Egyptian town, which I guess isn’t too bad.
For the most part, though, I’ve never cared for this name. To me, it’s just Alexandra with an “i”.

Harbor city in Egypt and therefor reminds me of Ancient Egypt. Mysterious, a bit dark/gothic yet Biblical (wholesome), and just stunning (like Cleópatra). No nickname as it takes away the strength and beauty that the full name has.
I love the name Alexandria, which is odd considering I don't like other names that start with Alex, such as Alexa, Alexis, and Alexandra. Though I don't like many of the nicknames. The only ones I would even consider using are Alex and Dria, but I prefer the name in its entirety. My favorite middle name combination is Alexandria Victoria.
