Huh...I guess I just don't think of names the way some people do. Sure, you could say Cale/Kale is a terrible name because of the vegetable, but I don't think it's a big deal. I teach a kid named Kale. He's 18 now!I think Kale is totally fine. Especially since so many of the kids named Caleb that I teach get called Cale or Cales.

Same here. If Gwyneth Paltrow can name her daughter Apple, why can't boys be named Kale? Haha
