Sister's BA
My sister was also pregnant at the same time as me but 3 weeks ahead of me. She just gave birth to her second girl yesterday morning. Unfortunately, I can't go visit her, and I don't know when I'll be able to see my new niece in person yet, but of course my first question was what did you name her??She and her partner had trouble finding a name they could both agree on, and for most of yesterday the baby didn't yet have a name, haha. But they finally picked...Avery AddisonHer big sister is Mila Ryan. WDYT?

Both names feel more masculine to me, and I dislike the alliteration.

I like both names. I have a niece named Avery and it fits her well. Congratulations to your family.

I don’t mind Addison much, but really don’t like Avery for a girl. However, babies are wonderful !!! Congrats on the new niece.

Yeah, my sis and I have vastly different tastes in names, haha

Definitely not a fan of Avery Addison. I see it as a solely masculine combo. Plus, it's so boring due to over usage.Mila is nice, but again Ryan is another name I view as masculine rather than feminine.

Congratulations on having a neice! It will be really nice to have the cousins so close in age. Avery and Mila are both fairly popular, so they will fit in with their classmates. Their middle names are stylistically very similar, so I'm guessing their parents wanted them to match.

I slightly like Mila. But I'm afraid the other three names really do not please me at all.

Congratulations Auntie! I don't really like either name on a girl, but Avery is a lovely name and most people aren't going to realize it is masculine. Mila is lovely.

Congratulations.I like Avery - but for a boy. And Avery Addison strikes me as very masculine.

Congrats! Not my style but not too bad with Avery. I only know 2 boys named Avery so I prefer it on a boy

How fun that y'all will have babies so close in age! Built in best friends. The names aren't my style, but they're certainly pleasant enough. Congrats to you and your sis!

I know. I'm really excited about that. I hope they do become best friends. :) Once this virus stuff is over, we'll have to have lots of playdates, haha.

My best friend from high school has a daughter 3 months older than T and they are best friends, it's so cute. She also has another daughter that is 8 months younger than T (her girls are 11 months apart!). Its really awesome

Not crazy about Avery or Addison, but together they make a unexpected combo that flows well and doesn't feel boring, although both names are popular. I actually prefer this combo to Mila Ryan (I really like Mila, but not with Ryan, that sounds like a FN + LN to me (and I prefer longer names).

Avery is cute, not crazy about Addison. I like Mila. Congratulations to her, I hope all’s going well.

She had a super fast labor! From the time the doctor broke her water to the time baby Avery arrived it was only about an hour and a half!
