It's my older brother's name (born before Bill Clinton was president). I don't like the name. He goes by Clint, which is better but still not a favorite of mine. It sounds cowboy to me, which isn't my style. I know he got "clit" in high school some, but I think it was just from friends ribbing him, not actual bullying.

It has a greasy feel and a tinny sound; I have difficulty in picturing an honest Clinton, and I don't know why: I've known one rather dodgy one, but there are plenty of others! And yet the impression remains.

I think it’s unusable—especially in the US—because of the Clinton family.

I prefer Clint because I've grown up with a few of them. Clinton sounds ostentatious, like there's an extra syllable just to be fancy.
