Cleveland and Dorothy
I was listening to a podcast with my daughter and they list off all the kids who submitted questions. Cleveland and Dorothy were siblings. Thoughts?

Cleveland isn’t too bad, I’d never use it for my kid, but I don’t mind Cleve for a nickname.
Dorothy is one of those names that I always have hated and don’t think I will ever change my mind. It’s so... ugly, dorky, and heavy in my mind.

Dorothy doesn't seem very surprising, at least not in some places. I like it.
Cleveland, though ... I would have thought it's too associated with the city, now, for people to think of using it. Unless it's a name in their family, I guess. Surprising to me. I'd be less surprised by Clive.
Can't say Cleveland is really my style at all. Cleve would sound about as self-consciously antique on a child, as Clive would. About 1/3 more so than Dorothy does, I guess. Heh

Ditto. I can see Dorothy, I can't really see Cleveland. I wish I had caught the name of the third sibling.
I've come across three young Clives. According to Rachel Shania I've met met like 2/3 of them. I also came across a kid named Grover.
But Cleveland really takes the cake. Another sister could be Brunhilde.

I really like Dorothy, mostly because of the nicknames Dottie and Dodie! Though ultimately I think I prefer Dorothea.
Cleveland is a combination of letters that I just can’t enjoy.

Ugh.

Uh hello, this is a name opinion board. People post names to get opinions.

Thank you for your feedback.
Would be very unsurprising for American siblings born around 1896.
