It’s not my thing, but the first thing that popped into my head was Esperanza Rising. I never read it, but I see the book all over the place at my school.
I love it. It may be too much to use in real life. It’s a guilty pleasure for me.
Prefer Esperance, but not enough to use. French names are much more frequently used than Spanish, where I live.
I have always thought Esperanza was a gorgeous name, though it doesn't really have many nickname opportunities (beyond... Essie, maybe?). Also, I've gotten the impression that Esperanza is perceived as old fashioned by the Hispanic / Latino community.
