Your first point occurred to me after my post. People are going to still see it as Alice with the associations.

my problem is that there are so many amazing I was just out there and I wish I could like it just because of them. Alice Roosevelt, Alice Walker, Alice Munro, Alice Liddell, Alice Hoffman, my great-aunt, a female minister I knew. all these powerful, intelligent women and yet my name gives off of vibe of being weak and vapid.
