Too old-Hollywood, and I greatly prefer Alannah.

I think it's cute. It's very feminine, but also brisk and lively, not frilly or overdone.
I am bothered by the fact that nobody seems to agree on pronunciation. Rhymes with Donna for some people, rhymes with Anna for others. I prefer the Donna rhyme.
