Re: Top 10 Favourite Combos Survey
in reply to a message by Julia
1. What do you like about my naming style and what do you dislike?
like: attractive classics, nice combinations
dislike: too much Latinization = too flowery / lacy for my taste2. Is there anything you absolutely love about my naming style? Absolutely loathe?
I'm not into Biblical boy names so much as all that. A few of them seem archaic to me - and on real guys, overbearing (Jonah, Lucas, Elijah in particular)3. If you could steal two combos, one from the girls and one boys, which combos would you steal?
Marina Charlotte and Gabriel Adam, maybe Asher Benjamin for great sound4. If you could change something about my naming style, what changes would you make?
De-latinize the girls and de-biblicize the boys, a bit? They're a tad severe as a group. 5. What names from my lists are you tired of seeing for whatever reason?
Sofia, Charlotte, Matilda, Grace, Natalia, Annelise6. How would you classify my naming tendencies? (For example: classic, trendy, retro-chic, old, kre8iv, etc...)
Classic with religious influence, highly conservative, mainstream and good taste7. What name advice would you give me?
You've heard it, about Adriana (the prn - not really that big a deal). Move Aidan River and Kylia Oceana onto your regular lists, what's stopping you? :-)8. Any other comments?
JMOs ~ I dislike Annelise, it sounds sorta squicky. Anna's better. Noah Daniel's a good combination too.- mirfak

Thanks!I do have a weakness for frilly names. There are very few I dislike.I didn't pick the Biblical ones on purpose, actually, and was surprised to see people commenting on it. Hmm.Aidan River is as close to guilty pleasure as I can get. I'm REALLY conservative with boys. Kylia Oceana will stay very firmly on the GP list, but thanks.I LOVE Anna too.
